"I had this old train, at least 50 years old, I wanted to allow my small grandchildren to play with.  With all the news about dangerous paints on toys I was fearful to allow them to touch it before totally repainting.  (Our youngest grandchild puts everything in his mouth.)  After sanding off all the old paint I used the ESF Colorants and acrylic paint to mix colors matching those originally on the train.  To my surprise it took less than 2 ounces to paint everything.  Now the train is safe and I am happy to have the grandchildren enjoying it."

"I can’t say enough about Earth Safe Finishes.  My young daughter is often playing at my feet while I work and it is such relief to know that my work environment is a safe place for her to play. The paints are a dream to use and prove that I don’t have to give up high quality in order to keep my studio green.  Earth Safe Finishes helps me be a better painter, a better mother, and better environmentalist.  What more could you ask for?"

"I am very excited and my head is buzzing on how to use the new & reformulated products. Can't wait to start experimenting on all kinds of mediums and textures. To see what I can come up with. I have been developing classes around the products and I will bring a couple of pieces with me. I  gave old decoupaging a new twist on gourds and my classes just fill up
.Old techniques but everyone loves the new twist. I will attach a picture. I use stamps which are new
to me, your decoupage. Old world black paint, polyurethane satin varnish & gold leafing with a touch
of Memories Inks.I would like to be able to sell your products not only to gourd artist. There are a lot
more artists using other mediums that could really benefit from using Green products. I think that it
gives crafting and artists a way to contribute to saving our planet and keeping their selves from being
exposed to toxic materials and fumes like leather dyes. You may not know but I checked it up one day
in my cancer books some carcinogenicity's that I worked with, like leather dye and found in the  first
paragraph leather dye is one of the first toxins that contribute to cancer it is absorbed threw the skin
and 99% of gourd artist don't wear gloves. I myself being a   twice survivor of cancer of the immune
system "Hodgkins Lymphoma" have become very carefull and aware of  what I work with now, not only in my art but in everyday life. I try to educate my students and tell them that I have stopped using airsols all together wether it's acrylic spray or some kind of cleaner. So if everyone just made a few changes we could protect ourselves especially our lungs and the Earth."

"I have been signing off with "Love the Earth" for several years and now I am into recycling and reusing and would love to expand my art work to more people other than gourd artists."

Last Novmember Tom purchased our Marine Varnish to use on a project in the harsh winters of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  These are his results:

"Our weather was not severe this winter, however in December the varnished wood was covered in four feet of snow.  The temps for the season did not go below 25 Degrees below zero!  There was a lot of cold rain.  The good news is - THE PIECE OF VARNISHED WOOD LOOKED THE SAME IN MAY AS WHEN IT WAS REMOVED FROM THE HOUSE IN DECEMBER."

"No discoloration, no peeling, no nothing.  Just like brand new"
